Our Action Hub has all of the latest information on upcoming events, training nights and Action Group updates! The GetUp Action Network is made possible by hundreds of volunteers and activists working together in Action Groups across the continent. 

Here’s how you can get involved:

  1. Join us at an upcoming event. See what local events are coming up in your local area or online! 
  2. Join a local action group (or create your own!) Become a part of a team of volunteers who organise their community, and take regular action together.
  3. Check out our campaign resources to take action in your own community right now

By joining an Action Group, you’re signing up to attend the group’s events and regularly take action. 

We also ask that you attend our GetUp101 Online Induction when they resume post-election.

We advise joining an Action Group and coming along to a few actions before you take on a formal role. 

Once you’re ready to take on a role, reach out to your Action Group’s Coordinator. Common roles include joining the core planning team to organise actions or help to recruit to events, and training to be a Coordinator to help lead a team.

Every person who signs up to attend a GetUp Action Network event must agree to our Volunteer Policy Manual, which sets out the minimum behavioural standards to uphold.

This Volunteer Policy Manual sets out the policies and procedures that we have in place to protect our volunteers and staff, and to help make the volunteering experience a positive one for everyone. You can find the Volunteer Policy Manual here
