Many were struggling before the bushfires and pandemic, and now there are so few options available. Australia must rebuild - and we are at a crossroads. We need future proof jobs in work that strengthens our communities and protects us from climate change.
We have been conducting listening surveys by calling GetUp members and members have also been surveying friends and neighbors in our communities ie collecting stories about what our communities would like to see from the government-led recovery from coronavirus.
On Wednesday 7th Oct we will be getting together online to welcome new members and share ideas to grow our clean recovery campaign within our community.
So please join us on Wednesday the 7th for an informal evening including breaking into smaller online groups at times.
Surround yourself with whatever drinks, snacks or food you fancy and let us grow support in our community for clean recovery jobs and climate action.
I will be there about 15 minutes early to help with any fine tuning of your zoom or connection issues

We acknowledge that we meet and work on the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We pay respect to their elders and acknowledge the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within Australia and the GetUp community.
