We are the Barton Action Group, a team of local GetUp members who share a passion for environmental justice, human rights, democracy and economic fairness.
Come along to our picnic at Gough Whitlam Park on Sunday 24th January at midday.
2020 has been a rough year for many starting with the aftermath of the bushfires and then suffering the many impacts of COVID but Barton members have endured.
This is our traditional picnic to kick off the year and a chance to meet or reconnect with other like minded people in the group.
Due to the ongoing health risks this event is by invitation only and rsvps are capped in line with GetUp's national policy. Please dont share your invitation email or this non public web page.

We usually say we’re growing our people-power so we can build a more inclusive future which is not dominated by big corporations and others taking more than their fair share and that hasnt changed, its just a bit more challenging.

BYO everything, inc your own lunch, snacks and a picnic blanket, no food is to be shared. A new kiosk has opened to replace the one that closed.
