Final Thursday Late Shift
This is it. This week is our last, best chance to kick the hard-right out of Parliament and unblock progress on climate change. The next few days could impact the next decade of Australian politics.
That's why we're staying on the phones even later all this week, and calling into the WA electorate of Pearce.
Here’s Porter's record:
- As Social Services minister, he oversaw the Robodebt program which issued 70,000 incorrect debt notices to people doing it tough.
- Porter voted eight times to cut weekend wages.
- He’s been criticised heavily for gifting numerous six-figure government jobs to Liberal Party colleagues and donors,
including after one of them gave him a free campaign bus.
- He teamed up with Peter Dutton to introduce dangerous new anti-encryption laws that allow the government to spy on your text messages.
Polls are tightening across the country. This is our moment to win or lose this election for future generations. Sign up to late-shift election calling.
*It's okay if you can't stay the entire time between 8:30-10:30pm AEST. Join us for as much as you can for, when you can. Every hour of calling counts!
