SAM says: StopAdani has been out on the streets speaking with Warringah residents these past few weeks, most recently with a doorknock of 500 houses in Fairlight. The resounding feedback we are hearing is that the community is sick and tired of Tony Abbott and the Government turning their back on the urgency of climate change and instead backing coal billionaire Adani.
Our community wants political leadership to move away from dirty fossil fuels to clean renewable energy. We have a huge opportunity at the next election to make sure all candidates are pushed to lift their game. That's why we are getting together, suburb by suburb to learn about Adani's mine, to build connections and make sure our voices are heard.
Next Thursday all Fairlight and Manly residents are invited to a Community Get-Together. A presentation and Q&A about Adani, snacks and networking, creating plan to lift up the voice of Fairlight/Manly residents
