In 2018, GetUp members, like you, helped to achieve some huge wins: we made thousands of calls to voters, contributing to LNP losses in Mayo, Longman, Wentworth and Victoria; the QLD government vetoed Adani from receiving the NAIF loan; and the #BringThemHere movement successfully pressured the government to bring all kids in detention on Nauru to Australia before 2019.
There’s much to celebrate. That’s why we’re bringing Queensland GetUp members together one last time in 2018 to share food, drinks and stories. You’re invited to GetUp’s End of Year Picnic!

Bring: Yourself and a smile - We have a free venue space, so will be able to buy food and drinks there.
This social picnic is open to anyone who’s keen to come along, You may have done a lot with GetUp this year or nothing at all; everyone’s welcome. You’re also free to drop in and out at any time.
