Persuasion Training

Persuasive conversations are at the heart of GetUp's 2019 election effort. Throughout the election period, we'll be running trainings to skill up in how to have great persuasive conversations with voters. So join us online, or check out some of the recordings of our trainings, or download some of our persuasion resources (coming soon!). Let's get the conversation started!

Persuasive Conversations Skills Workshop

This election offers us the greatest opportunity yet to move politics towards GetUp's vision of a fair and flourishing Australia!

In order to shift enough votes to un-elect the hard right MPs we’re targeting we need to have more conversations and more persuasive conversations than ever before.

Join us for an ONLINE introduction to persuasive conversations. Learn techniques of active listening, and how to change minds through values based conversations. Check out this short film on deep canvassing and a real conversation with a voter on marriage equality.

Through real conversations based on empathy and respect, we can rebuild our community, restore public trust, encourage people to act on their compassionate values.
