With both state and federal elections coming up in 2019, your local GetUp! Action Group will be reaching out more in our community to engage people on the issues that matter to them - and show them how they can make a difference in this election year.
After the success of our stall at 'Art on the Path' last December, we're holding another info stall at Moruya Country Markets on Saturday 16th February from 9am - 11am.
We'd love for you to come and join us to help share the GetUp! vision - to put everyday people's voices back in to politics and ensure that politicians represent us, the majority of Australians, not tax-dodging corporations with big lobbying $$$.
After 11am we'll pack up the stall and have a cuppa/brunch/lunch in the park while we share with you some new and exciting ways you can join in the people-powered movement to help GetUp! have a huge impact not only in the upcoming federal election, but in holding our politicians more accountable to their constituents between elections too.
