We still have more to do in 2021! #ThisCantWait

Our local Meanjin Action Group has been turning out for justice! We’ve put the pressure on Origin Energy to listen to Traditional Owners, started telling a powerful story to beat climate disinformation online and in person, and most importantly - we’re building a strong and passionate network of activists.

With the UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow (COP26) kicking off on Nov 1, and an election on the horizon, we need to harness our collective power! At our next planning meeting we’ll:

• Reflect on what we've learned at recent actions
• Plan our events for the remainder of 2021, including a COP26 action (i.e. how can we make noise to let the Morrison Government and Murdoch media know that #ThisCantWait and we need climate action this decade)
• Share a meal and continue building a community of friends who share our passions

This planning session is for all activists, experienced or brand new. If you are able, please bring a plate of food to share for our potluck dinner.
