Join people who share your values and have a bit of fun at our next GetUp monthly meeting. We’ll be regrouping around action on climate change. At the meeting we’ll take part in GetUp’s Online Launch of the campaign to support the September 20 Climate Strike. The Launch will take place on Monday 29 July 6:30-8pm AEST and those at the meeting will watch it online at the Juniors club. You can also join in to this launch online from your home or other place. For those who can’t join in at that time, GetUp will send out a recording of the event.
The Launch, will map out and discuss a plan for the next two months leading up to the Climate Strike, potentially including online training events, large town hall meetings, and tools for mobilisation tactics that groups have identified they want to roll out in their communities.
