We all know to win this election we need to make A LOT of phone calls, and we all know lots of people who have SAID they’d help… but getting people to commit to making phone calls can be difficult and frustrating. The Tas-Vic Support Team is here to help with the first of our exclusive SkillUp facilitated discussions.
In this 90-minute online discussion you will have the chance to hear from some of the more experienced GetUp Action Groups (Speakers TBC) on how to get people to actually turn up to calling parties and to call some of the thousands of voters who hold the key to a fairer, more democratic Australia. In addition to this, you will also have the opportunity to share your own ideas and converse with the Action Network from Victoria and Tasmania.
This session is a part of a new series of conversations called SkillUp which the Tas-Vic Support Team has organised to champion the continued learning within the network. These monthly events provide space for Action Group members to gain new critical skills and knowledge and to get to know one another better.
