For years, climate deniers and profiteers in Parliament have been putting our air, health and communities at risk, selling out our climate for profit. This summers’ devastating bushfires, heat waves and drought have brought global warming to our doorstep. 

But despite this, the Morrison government wants to use the cover of coronavirus to put billions of dollars into dangerous gas and coal. 

The Morrison Government will bring down a Federal Budget in October this year, outlining their plans for our post-Covid recovery.

GetUp’s idea is for the government to step in and create sustainable, secure jobs in meaningful work caring for people and the planet; for a recovery centered on people’s current needs and hopes for the future. A People’s Recovery.
