Federal Election Forum #5

Join us for our fortnightly Federal Election Forum!

This is the year we take back our politics from the control of hard right MPs like Tony Abbott and Peter Dutton, and put it in the hands of ordinary citizens and progressive champions.

The Federal Election Forum is an online space for us to talk about our election strategy and share important updates about the campaign.

We’ve been working on a document for How We Want To Be this federal election, a doc that sets out the culture, norms and what we can expect from each other as staff and volunteers on what’s shaping up to be a massive campaign.

Why? Because we need a unity of purpose and shared norms around how we work together if we have any hope of getting to the scale we need to be to sweep some of the most powerful people in the country out of our parliament.

Please pay attention to the different time zones! You will get a zoom meeting invite when you RSVP!
  • QLD 6pm - 7.30pm
  • NSW/VIC/ACT 7pm - 8.30pm
  • SA 6.30pm - 8pm
  • WA (standard time) 4pm - 5.30pm
WHERE: Online on Zoom. Follow this link https://zoom.us/j/116169286
And head on over to the #election_forum channel on Slack for more discussion about the campaign!

Election forums are a space where SST and AG representatives come together fortnightly to share key updates, learnings and feedback on election strategy and tactics. We will meet regularly so that communication is clear and flows through our network, ensuring everyone is on the same timeline and that changes are clearly communicated and justified, allowing us to remain agile and work as a movement.
