This election, our GetUp Action Network is having thousands of persuasive conversations with undecided voters, especially in key marginal electorates.

Here’s how you can help:

  1. Join a calling party to shift votes in strategic seats. They’re held weekly online and in person in select areas.
  2. Host a Kitchen Table Conversation. Get your peers and neighbours together to talk about key election issues and how to vote.
  3. Poster and flyer your community. Keep candidates and voters focussed on the important issues this election.

By joining an Action Group, you’re signing up to attend the group’s events and regularly take action.

We also ask that you attend our GetUp101 Online Induction when they resume post-election.

We advise joining an Action Group and coming along to a few actions before you take on a formal role.

Once you’re ready to take on a role, reach out to your Action Group’s Coordinator. Common roles include joining the core planning team to organise actions or help to recruit to events, and training to be a Coordinator to help lead a team.

If hitting the streets or the phones isn’t the right fit for you, consider joining our Welcome Team, a group of volunteers from across the continent who help to call and train new volunteers. Apply to join the Welcome Team here.
