Emerald Water Forum

This Tuesday, our friends at Farmers for Climate Action are hosting a water forum in Emerald. It’s an opportunity to hear from experts in water management and the coal industry about how coal mines impact our land and groundwater.

Keynote speaker Tom Crothers is a water expert, having worked in natural resource management for the Queensland Government for 35 years. He also wrote Draining the Lifeblood”, a major report exposing the risks to our groundwater from Adani’s proposed Carmichael mine.
