Tamboran is relying on their low public profile to get away with drilling through precious groundwater in the Beetaloo, destroying sacred Country and putting remote Aboriginal communities’ health at risk. We know they have a disaster ridden history of disregarding laws and consent to extract fossil fuels for profit and they could begin fracking as soon as this month.
This irreversible climate disaster in the NT can be stopped, if we act to stop it now. And we need all of us to show Tamboran we won’t let this happen.
That’s where we come in: Tamboran is holding an Annual General Meeting of their shareholders and investors on 18 November. We'll be there on Gadigal Land in Sydney standing behind Traditional Owners who say no to fracking in the Northern Territory, and we will have solidarity events across the country.
Join us in Meanjin, Brisbane, to show Tamboran’s investors and the public that we stand in solidarity with Traditional Owners from across the NT who have never given consent to fracking and strongly oppose public money being funnelled into devastating fossil fuel projects.
