It’s everywhere in the news: the IPCC report; the Liberal’s leadership mayhem (over climate and energy policy) - the need for ACTION to preserve a liveable earth. We’re headed for trouble - and we must act NOW.
On Nov 24 Victoria has the opportunity to draw a line in the sand, to say NO to coal and climate denial and YES to clean renewable energy and hope for the future. GetUp and Environment Victoria members are phoning voters in the most marginal seats to ask them to vote for a clean energy future.
Cooper Action Group is hosting a Calling Party next week. We know phoning voters can be nerve-wracking, but you’ll have training and support from experienced callers. Your calls might just decide our future here in Victoria! If you're not ready to make calls yourself you can just listen and learn. There'll be other opportunities - a federal election is coming!
