Solidarity Campaign Launch: Student Climate Strike
The wheels are in motion for the biggest global strike for climate we’ve ever seen on the 20 September.
Student strikers have called on everyone — adults, workers, retirees — to stand in solidarity with frontline communities and all those impacted by the climate emergency.
The GetUp movement is ready to get to work spreading the word and growing support in the lead up to the strike. That’s why we’re holding a solidarity campaign launch on Monday 29 July.
What: Solidarity Campaign Launch — Student Climate Strike
When: 6:30 - 8pm AEST, Monday 29 July
Where: Online via Zoom (RSVP for the details)
Who: GetTogether hosts, attendees and new allies!
RSVP using the form on this page.
Join this launch to hear from school climate striker Jean Hinchcliffe, and to get your hands on GetUp's tactic toolkit — a specially developed resource to help you mobile supporters within your community in the lead up to the climate strike.
We have the people power and the resources — this is our chance to build the alliances we need for a new phase in the climate movement.
