Climate Justice Campaign Asks

For government MPs:

Do you acknowledge that your government needs to do more to reduce climate pollution?

If so, will you commit to:

  1. Listen to the experts - commit to ending carbon pollution as soon as possible, and put the plans for cutting pollution and adapting to a hotter climate in the hands of an independent body of experts
  2. Support clean energy now – build more solar, wind, and storage to create jobs, lower power prices, and cut pollution, with a target to get to 100% clean energy as soon as possible.
  3. Help make us safe – emergency services equipped for a hotter and drier climate, climate-resilient housing, and protections for workers through heat and smoke.

For non-government MPs:

Do you believe that the government needs to do more to reduce climate pollution?

If so, will you make these your number 1 priority?

  1. Listen to the experts – commit to ending carbon pollution as soon as possible, and put the plans for cutting pollution and adapting to a hotter climate in the hands of an independent body of experts
