Bayside, Canterbury Bankstown and Georges River Community Support Groups Working Group Thurs 14/5/20

The pandemic and its outcomes have impacted many in the community who are vulnerable and who have fallen through  gaps in government responses. Three community facebook groups have been created aligned with local government areas.

Members and friends of these groups are meeting 7.00pm Thurs 14 May online using Zoom software (details will be in the rsvp response).

The agenda is flexible
  • acknowledment of country
  • share community and viral kindness support activities you have encountered,
  • brainstorm how we can support/expand kindness groups https://viralkindness.org.au/
  • also, how we can organise more support for the vulnerable.
  • relax  and chat

Near term we are focused on the many in our community who need help. Longer term there is an opportunity to achieve an inclusive people's future together with climate justice.
