Basic Income: An End To Poverty? 12-2-19

We all want a fairer society where people don’t have to live in poverty. But how can we get there?

In recent years the idea of providing a Basic Income (an unconditional livable wage for every citizen) has been gaining traction as a solution to that problem. But why would we want or need such a thing and what would it actually mean?

We have assembled a great set of speakers to shed light on this creative and exciting idea:
-    Dr. Elise Klein (Senior Lecturer, Development Studies at University of Melbourne)
-    Tim Dunlop (author of ‘Why the Future Is Workless' and ‘Future of Everything: Big, Audacious Ideas for A Better World’)
