Barton Welcome and Share Evening 7pm Wed 9 Sep 2020

Many were struggling before the pandemic and now many vulnerable people are falling through the cracks with so few options available.  The October budget is an opportunity to move to a people's future with well paid jobs for all who want them and a green technology recovery.

On Wednesday 9th Sept we will be getting together online to welcome new members and share ideas to grow our campaign within our communities.

We have been conducting listening surveys from GetUp members in our communities ie collecting stories about what our communities would like to see from the government-led recovery from coronavirus.

We will share recent experiences surveying and collecting stories, including interviewing people in our network, neighbours, family, friends who live in our area, and also contacts with small "not for profits".

So please join us on Wednesday the 9th for an informal evening including breaking into smaller online groups at times. Surround yourself with whatever drinks, snacks or food you fancy and let us grow our community's people power for a fairer future.

I will be there about 15 minutes early to help with any fine tuning of your zoom or connection issues
