This was a December meeting that will be deferred to a date to be set late Jan 2021
Agenda and text to be changed
Australia is facing an unemployment crisis, with 1 in 4 of us unable to find reliable work. But at the same time, there has never been more work to do to protect our planet and communities from climate change.
On Wednesday 9th Dec we will be getting together online to welcome new members. review how the petitions went and share ideas for next steps in our clean recovery campaign.
Two petitions are expected to be live for David Coleman MP and Scott Morrison respectively:
- "Banks wants a clean recovery now!". petition
- "Australia needs a clean recovery now"
Possibly revisit Getup's suggested tactics .
Any updates will be shared from Resilient Blue Mountains and their fire management/cultural burning working group
So please join us on Wednesday the 9th for an informal evening including breaking into smaller online groups at times. Surround yourself with whatever drinks, snacks or food you fancy and let us grow our community's people power for a fairer future.
I will be there about 15 minutes early to help with any fine tuning of your zoom or connection issues
