Barton Welcome and Clean Recovery Evening 7pm Wed 11 Nov 2020

Many were struggling before the pandemic and now many vulnerable people are falling through the cracks with so few options available and government support being reduced/withdrawn.

On Wednesday 11th Nov we will be getting together online to welcome new members and share ideas to grow our campaign within our communities.

At our last meeting we had a look at our first draft Clean Recovery Plan which was derived from surveying our community and the final edit to conform with the National campaign is now live as "Banks wants a clean recovery now!". petition

We will review progress publicising the petition, revisit Getup's suggested tactics and look at new initiatives.

We will also discuss Macquarie Action Groups powerful connection with their community and potential learnings from Resilient Blue Mountains for local adaption

So please join us on Wednesday the 11th for an informal evening including breaking into smaller online groups at times. Surround yourself with whatever drinks, snacks or food you fancy and let us grow our community's people power for a fairer future.

I will be there about 15 minutes early to help with any fine tuning of your zoom or connection issues
