Lockdowns, second waves and more have impacted us all and we would love to schedule a Sunday picnic or a pub/eatery evening to reconnect and chat, including with new members, but the risk is too high.

On Thursday 13th August we will be getting together online to share ideas, chat about anything that interests us and reward ourselves with each others company.

We have achieved a lot recently including conducting listening surveys from GetUp members in our communities ie collecting stories about what our communities would like to see from the government-led recovery from coronavirus. 

Soon there will also be a number of other ways to conduct the survey and collect stories, including interviewing people in your network, neighbours, family, friends who live in your area.

But this event is for you to share your stories on any topic and chat with other like minded local GetUp members.

So please join us on Thursday the 13th for an informal evening. Surround yourself with whatever drinks, snacks or food you fancy and let us pause before we move onto new challenges.

I will be there about 15 minutes early to help with any fine tuning of your zoom or connection issues
