Barton AG: Local Event Planning group 24th March 22

This zoom event is to

  • greet each other,
  • to bring together previous local event discussions and
  • determine the preferred types of face to face events we can run within our community to build on the opportunities provided by the refocused Health Justice and Climate Action initiatives together with the Protect Cultural Heritage initiative.
  • also to discuss optimum time of the week for each event.

Overall our strategy is to engage the community in conversation and provide an immediate opportunity to sign petitions via QR codes using posters and leaflets to assist us, not to maximise leaflet distribution to people running to catch trains.

We have an extra likely benefit running events in banks and barton electorates because staff support follow up recruitment calls to non members in those postcodes, however, if you have support for an event elsewhere, that also supports election goals including influencing the Senate vote.

This is an informal event.

Surround yourself with whatever drinks, snacks or food you fancy and let us grow our community's people power for a fairer future.

I will be there about 15 minutes early to help with any fine tuning of your zoom or connection issues, more support detail in the rsvp response
