This is a "by invitation only" cycle day starting from Freshwater Park (corner Ada and Wilson) Strathfield at 10am then along the cycleway beside the Cooks River with Ross Liddle as guide.
Those arriving by train at Strathfield Station can go along Redmyre Rd, Baker Rd then Wilson St to reach the park.
This event was a good idea in the first place and also supports the "Banks wants a clean recovery" petition which includes environment restoration. Our aim is to enjoy the river as a group with no fixed agenda and no prize for finishing first.
You dont have to live in Banks electorate to sign the petition, a clean recovery benefits everyone. "Banks wants a clean recovery", sign here
Publicity photos will be taken so let the organisers know if you dont wish to be included.
