The election is over and it's time to get together to celebrate our hard work, share our disappointments and start to find common ground for future campaigns.
GetUp’s Barton Action Group has played an important part in the 2019 federal election campaign, making close to 6,000 calls to voters. We’ve worked hard, had a great result in our main objective Warringah, but fell short elsewhere.
Let’s take some time to get together to reflect on our work — both what was challenging and what was great so that we can learn from those experiences.
So whether you’re a volunteer who’s been with us since the beginning, you joined up for the first time this election, or have never attended an Action Group event before, we’d love to see you at the Marrickville Hotel Saturday 1st June, about 6pm.
Dont be concerned if you are not in Barton electorate, we are active in Banks and other nearby areas.
