Barton Action Group Calling Party Thursday 11 June 2020 (by invitation only)

Angus Taylor wants to divert money from the government funded Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and give it to the fossil fuel industry to frack our country!

Our leaders have a choice. Coming out of this health emergency, we could have an austerity driven “gas-lead recovery”, or we could have a renewables boom and green jobs for all! Don’t let Morrison, Taylor, and his mates in the fossil fuel industry steal our renewable future.

There has never been a more important time to plan for a fair, flourishing and just Australia. But we have to act now! We have until June 21st to make a difference.

Please join us in a calling party, to mobilize GetUp supporters to call Angus Taylor’s office and call/contact their own MP to complain.

Marinella will be your host, a guide for calling GetUp members, a guide for calling Angus Taylor's office, and a backgrounder for the campaign will be provided to help you understand the strategy. Ignore the reference to the Kooragang dialling tool, you will not be using it.

Attendance is by invitation only and there is a cap on RSVPs to keep social distancing practical. With limited places, DO NOT RSVP unless you are certain you will be there.

There’ll be the company of passionate, like-minded people and as usual, sharing experiences at the end.
Simply bring a fully charged phone, earphones/earpods (earphones with a microphone are recommended but not essential), and your enthusiasm for winning real progress for Australia.

BYO snacks and refreshments to share
