Melbourne: Qld State Election Strategy Briefing & Calling

The Queensland election could make or break Adani’s disaster coal mine.

If the LNP take power in two weeks, Adani gets a billion dollars. This would put Adani’s coal project on the brink of proceeding.

But if we stop the LNP from claiming power, we can block the billion-dollar bailout and leave Adani’s plans in tatters.

This could be the most crucial two-weeks we’ve ever had for fighting Adani. We have a plan, and we need every single person who can to make it happen.

Join us this Thursday night for a strategy briefing to learn how we can torpedo Adani’s plans in the next two weeks.

Following the briefing there'll be an opportunity to jump right in and get on the phone to Queensland voters, to talk to them about how they can stop the Federal government handing $1 billion of public money to Adani.

When: Thursday, 16th November 2017, 6 - 8:30 pm.

Where: Purple Room, Melbourne Multicultural Hub, 506 Elizabeth St.

Bring: Yourself, a phone and some headphones if you have some!

Over the next three weeks, we have set the goal of making over 100,000 calls to the voters who we know will decide the future of Adani’s billion-dollar bailout.

We know this strategy works. One-on-one conversations between ordinary Australians have been the driving force of the most effective people-powered campaigns.

All training and resources are provided, so all you need to bring is yourself and your phone! Headphones could be handy too if you have some. We can promise great training, tasty snacks and a few laughs along the way.
