The Dickson campaign is at a crucial moment: the federal election could be called as early as July and our movement needs to be ready.
The Dickson group has been doing a tonne of local voter engagement, making calls and door knocking the community to survey their hopes and concerns. But they could really use some extra support.

Home Affairs Minister and Dickson MP Peter Dutton is one of the most powerful people in Australia. He's a key government power broker, and is dragging their policies on everything from offshore detention to climate change further to the right.
Dutton is now engaged in a power grab — with new powers to spy on ordinary Australians and punish whistleblowers for speaking out. His dangerous views have no place in our politics and we won't stop until they cost him votes and even his place in parliament.
As the election heats up, Dutton remains vulnerable in his electorate of Dickson. It's no easy task unseating a Cabinet Minister, so we really have to fight. What are we going to do?
Make 30,000 calls and have conversations with 3,000 voters in Dickson. On the calls, we'll survey the community about what issues they most care about. Having conversations with voters over the phone is a core tactic of the GetUp Action Network. By finding out what matters to voters, we can then lay the plans for an impactful Dickson election campaign.
